laptopsMost often, students search for a top quality laptop to be able to handle all of their demands at the same time from running many different programs, Internet, office applications, instant chat, music and videos, as well as the occasional game. For all these reasons they need a laptop which will operate fast.

As a matter of fact it doesn’t matter how fast a processor you get, but it matters to provide a dual core processor instead of a single core. With a dual core you will be able to run many programs at the same time without hurting your laptops performance. Due to that, it is necessary to have at least 2GBs of memory space. If you would like to play the occasional computer game then you have to find a laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

Most students enjoy, of course, listening to music on their laptops. In that sense, make sure to provide good and powerful speakers. If you have an inbuilt sub woofer, you can be sure that your laptop speakers are of great quality. The other option is to buy some additional speakers to use with your laptop.

However, probably the most difficult thing will be to find a laptop for a reasonable price of money, as you certainly wouldn’t like to spend a large amount on a new laptop which is extremely likely to be dropped or have a drink spilt on it. It is not unusual at all that students occasionally spill beer on them. The bad thing is that this can seriously damage your device, and most of the warranties do not cover such kind of repairing services. Therefore, if you are not so careful, you should better search for a second hand one.

A great majority of students choose little netbooks, as less expensive option, but in a while they realize that they are too small, and that they do not perform in the same way a normal laptop does. Thus, taking into account all the features of the netbooks you will quickly find that it is far better value for money to buy a full sized laptop. Still, the only good thing about netbooks is that they can be very useful for taking notes while you are on lectures, as they are easily portable.
